The SnookerQ community sadly lost two very much respected members in recent months. Tigger (John Williams, passed away on 10 November 2021) and Best_Peace (Keith Horobin, passed away on 3 January 2022). They both joined SnookerQ in the pre-beta testing phase of the game and gave us a lot of time and feedback during the early stages of launch. They will be missed by all. Rest in peace.

• Tournaments are here! Automatic tournament management from start to end, complete with cross-lobby notifications containing direct links to the lobby where the games are played, so you won't miss your tournament match when chatting or watching your friends play in other lobbies. Match results are automatically synchronized to the web pages.
• Upcoming tourney widget in the lobby: Quickly browse the upcoming tournaments and join them with a single click. Time zone agnostic countdown timers are also shown.
• Tourney topstats board: Basic information about the current tournament, high breaks and latest match result shown at the top.
• New web pages for tournamens: list of all tournaments, detailed information, join/leave, standings, stats.
• Switch lobbies tab added. Tournaments are played in a separate lobby so we need to switch lobbies in the game.
• POV mode for spectators: follow the player's aiming with a live cam over the cue. Activate as usual: SPACE key or POV button.
• Qash Box: Collect Qash after the first login of the day and every 30 minutes.
• Report Abuse buttons are live! Use them with responsibility but do use them when appropriate. Help us keep this a friendly and happy place. Details of the issue are saved for later investigation and online moderators are informed about the report immediately.
• When the Top Stats table is not fully filled (like at midnight after reset), the empty slots will have numbers and lines, not only the empty area.
• Text chat warning added when the player misses twice where the ball on can be hit full ball.
• Sound effect played when the first ball hit is very thin.
• Popup window added to explain the Rating Badges.
• Bugfixes (order of extra badges in player lists, tooltip flashing problem, blocking of invitations reset, cue spinning around at every aim adjustment, chat scroll doesn’t always stick to the bottom for users who use medium size bottom box and when the More tab is selected, @whispering to an offline user will report that the user is not here any more, and some smaller fixes).

• Live Aiming Lines fix: spectators can only see the aiming lines of players who have enabled it.
• Live Aiming Lines fix: no more false object ball lines for a split second at the start of aiming.
• Bugfixes to avoid false maximum breaks and total clearances in stats, premature frame ends and unexpected coin toss for respotted black.

• Live Aiming Lines: Players can enable the displaying of their current aiming, spin and power settings for the opponent and all other viewers.

With the new version released yesterday, the early test phase is over. Many players were consulted about resetting or not resetting, partly resetting, resetting only the stats but not the ratings and other options and the outcome of these discussions were that the majority of the SnookerQ community wants a fresh start. So we did it.

• Interactive Tutorial feature with 16 different topics and exercises for a quick getting started experience.
• Welcome popup screen for new users and users who haven't completed any tutorial topics yet. If you are more experienced and the popup is annoying for you, go to the tutorials and complete a simple exercise.
• Auto concede limit added to match overview in lower left corner.
• Claim frame button: when the opponent is too much "in minus", that is, when the number of points left on the table is not enough to come close to the player in front within the auto concede limit, the concede button turns into a "Claim Frame" icon, a green check mark, which, when clicked, will instantly win the frame for the player in front. We can finally say goodbye to the ugly intentional miss to win the frame.
• Top Stats button in the table chat window.
• CTRL-SHIFT-F restores the default 3D Free View (CTRL-F view).
• Less ball rolling: more realistic and it speeds up game play experience, too.
  Warning: your usual shots may need adjusted power!
• Less slide on cushions for low angle bounces.
• Pro level is made more difficult.
• Game version number is displayed in the lower right corner or the lobby screen.
